De firma Beau Geste, uit Buenos Aires in Argentinië, begon zijn loopbaan met het invoeren van boeken over alles wat te maken had met militaria, militaire geschiedenis en soldaatjes, sedert het begin van de jaren ’80. In 1985 produceerden de heer en mevrouw Daniël Donzino en de heer Cristian Fernandez hun eerste figurines onder de naam Donzino & Donzino. In 1999 lanceert Daniël Donzino zich in de productie van miniatuursoldaatjes in tin, in de traditionele stijl “old toy soldier” (glimmend geschilderd, schaal 54 mm) en dit onder de merknaam Beau Geste.
