Gepassioneerd verzamelaar John Eden begint zijn carriére in 1994 in Marlborough Military Models (beroemd voor zijn serie Delhi Durbar). Hij wordt ook de verdeler voor het Franse merk C B G Mignot voor het volledige Verenigd Koninkrijk. Sedert enkele jaren heeft hij Rose Miniatures opnieuw tot leven gewekt, de moules van dit merk werden niet meer gebruikt sedert 1963. Hij heeft het bestaande gamma uitgebreid. Eén van zijn mooiste realisaties is de serie gewijd aan het Oude Egypte : “Egypt, Land of the Pharaohs”. De figurines Rose Miniatures zijn op schaal 54 mm, mat of glimmend geschilderd in de meest pure traditie van het Britse soldaatje.
