I’ve been curating my GIPHY profile for a while now, mostly to drop into Discord chats with my crew. It’s become my go-to for pulling up reaction GIFs from my favorite shonen arcs—like that one scene from Attack on Titan where everyone’s losing it. The search actually works okay for finding specific moments from MAPPA or Madhouse shows, which surprised me. I mean, I’ve got folders full of Sasuke being edgy and Tanjiro getting emotional.
But here’s the thing: the tagging system is a mess. I can’t add my own tags easily, so I end up scrolling through way too many unrelated memes before I find the right frame. Also, the upload limit for free users is kinda tight—I hit it after adding maybe 50 GIFs from Jujutsu Kaisen. Still, for a quick laugh or sharing a perfect reaction to a plot twist, giphy profile does the job. I just wish they’d let me organize like I organize my manga volumes on the shelf.
